Disney Frozen Competition T&C’s

Terms and Conditions

  1. The Frozen 2 hamper competition will run from 23rd March – 29th March 2020, and no entries submitted after this period will be valid.
  2. The prize on offer is 1 (One) hamper worth R1 500 (One Thousand Five Hundred Only) including:
    • Frozen 2 Ice Castle Logo Set
    • Frozen 2 Camping Chair
    • Frozen 2 Backpack
    • Frozen 2 Blue T-shirt
    • Frozen 2 Fashion Gift Set
    • Frozen 2 Pink Dress
    • Frozen 2 Lego Set
    • Frozen 2 DVD
  3. The winner of the hamper will be announced on the 1st of April 2020.
  4. By entering this competition, entrants agree to abide by the rules and conditions of the competition.
  5. To stand a chance to win, participants must comment with the correct answer on the Frozen 2 competition post.
    Question: Who is the 5th spirit in Frozen 2?
  6. Persons can enter as many times as one likes, but no entrant may win more than once.
  7. This list will be checked against the winners’ list for the last 90 (Ninety) days. For a user to win, they cannot have won a competition in the last 90 (Ninety) days.
  8. If a winner has won an Edcon prize in the last 90 (Ninety) days, Edcon legal will be required to draw a replacement winner.
  9. Entrants must be 18 (Eighteen) years of age or older to enter this competition.
  10. This competition is open to South African residents only.
  11. The competition is not open to employees, directors, members, partners, agents or consultants of Edcon Limited (‘Edcon’), the sponsor of the prizes, their respective advertising and promotional agencies, media and PR agencies, or the immediate family members, consultants, directors and associates of such organisations and persons.
  12. All entries will be submitted to a judging panel to select the winners.
  13. The winners will need to supply their South African ID number, address, contact number and/or email. Jet reserves the right to withhold any prize until it is entirely satisfied that the claimants of the prize are the bona fide winner and reserves the right to call for such proof as it may deem necessary.
  14. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that his or her details are correct. Edcon will not be held liable in any way relating to incorrect information being provided.
  15. The winners will be announced within 2 (Two) working days after the competition ends.
  16. The winners will be contacted via private inbox on Facebook or telephonically or via email and will receive their prize via courier.
  17. Prize delivery via courier will be within 4 (Four) to 6 (Six) days from being dispatched.
  18. If a selected winner is not successfully contactable within 7 (Seven) working days from the time of the selection, Edcon reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
  19. Once the winner is contacted and consent is given, the winner will be announced on the Jet Facebook page.
  20. Winners must notify Edcon if they do not want to participate in any marketing activity or have their image or name used in any way. If you are entering this competition you understand and acknowledge that Jet may use your name only in the event that you are a winner.
  21. Any information disclosed by entrants will only be used to contact the entrant, should they be selected as a winner.
  22. The prize excludes any other expenses incurred by the winning participant when entering the competition. The prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged for their cash value.
  23. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  24. Sponsoring parties are not liable or responsible for any or all losses, rights, claims and actions in connection with, or resulting from, participation in the competition or acceptance of the prizes.
  25. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. If you are entering this competition, and therefore agreeing to these terms and conditions, you completely release Facebook from any connection to this competition.
  26. All information disclosed by the entrants is only divulged to Edcon and Joe Public Connect, and not to Facebook. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook. You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to Facebook.
  27. If the competition cannot be conducted as planned for any reason, including fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Edcon which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, Edcon reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
  28. Edcon is the controller of the processing of all personal data collected through this competition. Edcon respects your privacy and complies with applicable privacy laws.
  29. Edcon only processes personal data that a user voluntarily provides through the competition. This information may include such user’s first and last name, e-mail address, date of birth, address and country of residence. Edcon’s purpose in gathering and transferring such personal data will be to participate in a promotional campaign.
  30. The transfer, storage and processing of data collected through the competition is secured by means of current, usual technical measures.
  31. Edcon will not provide your personal data to any other third parties, unless there is a legal obligation to do so or you have consented thereto.
  32. The laws of the Republic of South Africa govern these Terms and Conditions and participants agree to be subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
